Decisions, Decisions
I love my job...most of the time, but nonetheless, it would take a lot for me to leave.
My boss calls me in her office yesterday and I'm thinking "holy shit, what did I do now?", only to find out she's offering me a different position with BETTER pay (by about $10,000 a yr), but way longer hours, weekend days, and much harder work. Some good, some bad right?
Well, I have to give her an answer by today and so I spent much of my night yesterday deliberating. This is not a position I would ever really see myself in long term and don't want to get "stuck" there. But, the MONEY would be really, really, really nice to have. Decisions...decisions...have until the end of the day to decide!!!!!

Nakedness and ball cleaning
What a better way to start off a new blog than with some nudity????? Okay, not really, well kind of...let me tell you about it!
So, my hubby, we'll be calling him B from here on out...left out of town for work today and will be gone for a week (tear) and has left me all alone with our amazingly strong willed 9 1/2 month old, we'll call him A from here on out. This is our 1st time being apart and my 1st real time being alone with A for this long a time period. Of course, this is nothing I don't think I can handle...I'm superwoman!
Cue...30 minutes after B leaves today. Mommy says, "Do you want a bath A?", to which he of course responds, "Why yes mother, I would love a bath!" I kid...I kid...
In the bath we go where of course I mommy ended up more wet, but anywho...10 minutes later and out of the bath we go to the living room to dry off. As I'm drying off A, he takes off crawling in all his wonderful nakedness and heads to his ball pitt where before jumping in, he stops and pees on our carpet (literally like a dog would), then hops in, looks at me and laughs! I love that little man!
Of course since he had already peed and spread the love in his ball pitt, I let him play for a few minutes before giving him another wipe down, dressing and putting him to bed.
Now I'm off to sanitize some balls...! ;p

The start of a new era...or not.
Hi everyone,
So as my description says, my name is Michelle and I'm going on 27 years young. Married to my wonderful hubby Bryan for over 5 years with a wonderful, sometimes mean, tantrum throwing, loud, non cuddly, amazing son Aiden who is 9 1/2 months old. Did I mention I have a cat? Her name is Frisky, but we've never called her that and she goes by Kitty. She used to be lazy and laid back, but now she has to sleep with one eye open thanks to Aiden whose favorite past time is catching the cat, eating the cat, pulling the cats tail and hair, etc. you get the picture. I have a full time job as a case manager and am going to school full time for my Masters. To top it all off, I have decided to pick up sewing as a new hobby AND now attempting to start a blog!
Good grief...I'm exhausted just writing that.
Anywho...In this blog I will write about my adventures in parenting, life, love and sewing.
I am excited to write this blog for the following reasons:
1) I can share my thoughts about randomness with people who might or might not care
2) Where else can you go to bitch and complain?
3) I love reading other blogs and hope mine will be that for someone else
Reasons I'm scared/nervous to write this blog:
1) I'm not as witty as others and I love witty blogs
2) Time...there is never enough
3) I'm a commitmentphobe (sp?)...you can ask the pile of scrapbooking things that are now boxed away after a sad 2 weeks...
All that being said, I look forward to sharing my adventures with you! :)
